Morith, Inc. specializes in long-term care insurance, planning,
and consulting
and is currently licensed to sell insurance
in 11 states (Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan,
New Jersey,
North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Vermont).
We represent most of the major long-term care insurance companies including,
but not limited to: Genworth Financial, Inc., John Hancock
Life Insurance Company, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Nancy P. Morith, CLU, CASL, LTCP, heads the Princeton, NJ-based firm and serves
as an adjunct faculty member of The
American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, and as an Associate Editor
for the Journal of Financial Service Professionals.
She served on the Board of Advisors and appeared in a PBS
special on caregiving, "And Thou Shalt Honor", that aired on
October 9, 2002.
Ms.
Morith served as faculty for the SHIP
National Training programs, sponsored by the Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid in 2003, leading multi-day educational
programs in private financing methods in long-term care for SHIP
Directors in four cities across the country. She is
currently working on the revisions to the 2008 SHIP Training
Manual. Ms. Morith was also an editor-writer for the four
books in the 2005 Second Edition of the long-term care insurance
courses leading to the LTCP designation, sponsored by America's
Health Insurance Plans' (AHIP) Center for Education and
Professional Development. She also served as an author in
the newly published AHIP textbook on The New Long-Term Care
Partnership Programs.
Ms. Morith has authored articles on long-term care insurance in
several publications, including the Journal of Financial
Service Professionals and Life Insurance Selling
magazine. She has served as a source for the media and been
quoted in Kiplinger's, Kiplinger's Retirement Report, Forbes, Business Week,
National Underwriter, and
Money magazines,
as well as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,
and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Ms. Morith has also been a featured
speaker at various conferences nationwide, including the Private
Long-Term Care Insurance Conferences; Selling
to Seniors Conference; a Society of Financial Service Professionals' video
teleconference, "Long -Term Care Planning: Strategies &
Opportunities"; the Society of Financial Service
Professionals Forums; and the Inter-Company Long-Term Care
Insurance (ILTCI) Conferences (formerly Society of Actuaries
Long-Term Care Insurance Conference).
Ms. Morith works out of the
corporate headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey, and
lives in Yardley, PA, and Union, ME. She is a graduate of the University
of Pennsylvania and holds the following designations:
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Advisor for Senior
Living (CASL), and Long-Term Care Professional (LTCP).
